I don't have a problem with having both moderates and progressive Democrats in Congress. I do have a problem when people collapse into a pile of wet noodles around fascism, and yet suddenly know how to pull every trick in the book to stop progressives.

I hear this a lot, and as nice as the sentiment is, it does break down along ideological lines. Because winning fight requires major systemic change. So, if you’re a moderate, you can talk tough all you want, but at the end of the day, the stuff you’re fighting for won’t beat back the right.

The plan was always to have the "Never Trump" GOP join the Dem Party and remake it in their image. That's one reason Harris's campaign aligned with Cheney and bragged about "the most lethal military".
