i get the sense that ppl who are super into AI think that AI skeptics are only against it for moral reasons, which is part of it (and is also true for me). but another issue i have with it is that it is actually bad at what it is supposed to do, with no way to improve (look up "AI plateau" for info)

I had actually considered going back next year and playing the original Divinity games. But, sorry. This is true. I love the Game Awards for almost everything that isn't the actual show. Don't get me wrong. Keighley is extremely good at being Keighly, and the show is always well produced. But, I like to see the things that land outside of the show itself, like flute guy.

I ended up going down a dead end path on my second timeline playthrough of Last Defense Academy, and i achieved five endings. It reminded me of why i love Kotaro Uchikoshi games. Gonna probably end up just spending the rest of the year playing only this to 100-percent it. It's pretty great.

Trying to decide how far I'm going to go in Last Defense Academy at this time. I've rolled credits on the first timeline, and I'm about 25-percent through the second. But 100 endings is a lot, even if a lot of them are variants. Most estimates online say around 200 hours to 100-percent.
