Ten hours into Silksong 1.0. Nothing too difficult yet, but I definitely agree with the criticism of the rosary economy. I got charged 30 rosary beads to enter a shop every single time, meaning i needed to add 30 to the price of anything I wanted. Blech. That borders "no fun" difficulty.

Wife and I went to see this tonight. Didn't realize it was a "fancy dress" showing, but thankfully i wore my best black shorts and batman shirt, so i didn't stick out. Good movie and a nice end to the series. Needed more guillotines tho.

Had to put Silksong on hold while I finished Expedition 33 before my Game Pass expires on Saturday (Free Palestine), but I am excited to really dig in next week. I do plan to roll the first patch back though, because I want to form an opinion on the game at release. We'll see how that goes, though.

Borderlands 4 comes out soon, and while I am not really a Borderlands fan, I do find it funny that all of the trailers look exactly like a game I would think was designed by a guy who would leave a jump drive with porn at Medieval Times.

Still thinking about this one. I think its biggest issue is people going in expecting a haunted house story, like the first two. That is there, and in the 3rd act, it really ramps up. But, the bulk of this movie is a family drama about a couple growing old and dealing with their past mistakes.

Goddamn, Expedition 33 is awesome. The story is great, the performances are amazing. Even the combat is so fun. I've never played an rpg that makes you want to swap out party members to experiment with different combos. Every character plays so differently, and supports the others in different ways.

I liked this one quite a bit. Way better than the last one. I don't know that it reaches the heights of the first two (i personally liked the second one the best), but it is a solid film and a fitting goodbye to the series. The bridal gown scene may be the creepiest the entire series has ever done

The Conjuring was the movie that got me into horror movies, so I am pretty excited for this one. Wilson and Farmiga are remarkably engaging, and their chemistry is off the charts. They are easily the best PR the Warrens could have ever hoped for.

The new David Byrne record is delightfully weird. The inclusion of a full orchestra makes for some really fun layering and really fantastic complexity.

This Silksong game is really good. Can't believe I've never heard of it. Feel like this is the type of game that should have some hype around it.
