Had a night to sit on my thoughts once I beat Metroid Prime 4. Started a bit slow, had a fantastic middle, ran out of gas by the end, but got a good last gasp with the final boss fight. The pros of the game are sticking with me a lot more than the cons, but it’s not exclusively positive.

Trying to look for an indie game like classic Mega Man is annoying because you wind up finding games that are inspired by certain spin-offs of Mega Man, but not the original. Shovel Knight was close, but I've already played that. With all the Metroidvanias, you'd think there'd be more Megaman-likes.

Bad news: woke up randomly at 3 am for no reason and I’ve got 3 meetings this morning. Good(?) news: I guess the meetings are space out enough that I can take it easy during the gaps.
