“We have a right to know who we are.” I’m one of the 1800 Aberdeenshire adults on the waiting list for an autism assessment. How many other universally accepted diagnoses simply aren’t checked? Why are we ok to be ignored and sidelined? These cuts would be discriminatory pure and simple.

It has been nearly two decades since the SNP promised to replace Council Tax. The BHA delivered some reform but didn’t tackle the fundamental problem. We need a fairer system. We need to abolish Council Tax.

One of the great things about being a queer person is that we are allowed, and allow ourselves, the space to explore gender. There are still walls (background, culture, class), but it’s a freedom not all have. It’s a freedom we should embrace whenever possible.
