In this case, though, it looks like they are only using the software to categorize results. Whatever the EHRC was doing, it wasn't simply categorizing stuff... they seem to be using it as a get out of jail free card to avoid actually reading, analyzing, and replying to the consultation responses.

I know the EHRC is stonewalling (sic) on releasing any information about their use of AI to analyse "consultation" results. But it caught my eye that the government is using the same approach elsewhere, here with 50,000 responses being analysed with an AI approach in less than 2 hours.
