So, research funding for āresearchā about trans people BY CIS PEOPLE is likely between Ā£13-Ā£15 million. Trans researchers were excluded from ALL of these. Research funding for trans academics is WAY below this, if available at all. This is an equal opportunities issue as well as an ethical one.

I do get nervous criticising approaches to evidence review on short-form platforms that aren't made for nuance like Bluesky - in part because the narratives lose some of the nuances, and in part because it can definitely be frowned on to criticise others work outside of peer reviewed environments.

I don't think I've ever seen this written about. Trans kids having their data rights attacked from so many angles. This one particularly stung because it had a big impact whilst not even being acknowledged as anything more than a minor IT system change. schools were told by DofE this was mandatory.

Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.

The Living Marxism/Spiked network position (of which O'Neill is part) on Jimmy Saville was the same. Their main ideologue Frank Furedi wrote a whole book on it. This is a habit for them. Furedi now leads the Orban-funded MCC think tank. One of his students edits the Thiel-funded Compact Magazine.

Crack is coded as a drug of violence, lumpenproles, often seen as Black coded racially, a drug of unemployed dangerous gangsters. Unlike the drug they all use, cocaine. Nice bougie cocaine, very white, very fancy. Except its the main drug used in our safe consumption clinic.
