Just a friendly reminder to check your voter registration regularly. A lot of us have had our voting records sent to The Regime. There is no reason to believe this was a benign action.

If Iran successfully disrupts red sea shipping traffic, global supply chains will be disrupted in a way that may exceed COVID. This isn't Iraq, Afghanistan, and Venezuela. Iran has the ability to extract insanely high costs on the rest of the world with relatively little effort.

If Iran successfully shuts down the strait of hormuz for months or longer while destroying long term oil production capacity, it's not hyperbole that the energy crisis will result in rolling blackouts, inability to get gas, and soaring food prices that leads to famine.

It's absolutely surreal how no one is talking about the Iran war in daily life. No one is discussing it and they seem oblivious. This conflict is spiraling and deteriorating in a way that it will substantially disrupt daily life for most of the world for the first time in decades.

What happened at BAFTA makes me recall how, more often then not, when racism occurs and that's pointed out, people often rush to comfort and defend the perpetrator, not the victims. Stunning to me that no one official even SPOKE to Jordan/Lindo after. No one paused to imagine how that felt.
