It feels like an act of community service when parents let their kids wear a full Halloween costume in public. Thank you. I needed to see a tiny Spiderman today.

you don't have to put on blackface to get social media attention. you can simply develop mild depression, join a menswear forum, spend the next 15 years arguing about pants, and then weaponize the knowledge against your enemies on social media.

You gently run your hand through the rack. You can feel it—pure cotton, rich wool, Irish linen. The plump buttonholes are handsewn; the buttons attached with a firm shank. You flip the price tag over. It's affordable You buy the jacket and go home, which is only 15 mins away. Your apt is $600/month

what Americans seem to want is to be able to buy whatever product they want without government interference but also an ironclad guarantee that all store-sold products are safe, and we just need to recognize that these are contradictory ideas and we're gonna have to make people mad about the former

I recently went to a McDonald’s where you don’t interact with anyone, you just go to a kiosk and then they put your order on a rack, and the thing that gets me is that nothing on the menu cost less because of it. No benefit for me! Doubt the people in the kitchen are getting paid better!
