As part of this project we are now inviting those who develop models that inform UK policy, or who use models in UK policy settings, to take part in confidential research interviews about what makes a "good model". Please contact us before the end of December 2025 if you wish to be involved.

Scottish Social Attitudes report a dramatic dip in British identity in Scotland in 2024

I have a vivid memory of the first social policy lecture of my Masters, when the (sadly late) John Hills said most redistribution is across the lifecourse, not across the population. It is such a basic message, and seems increasingly poorly understood.
