Nah see, I totally get that y'know. S'different sorta vibe than say like, "I think it would be really cool if Sixtus ran a company and that would make him sooo interesting..." Again tho, I'm a bitter person who's witnessed too many guilds for nigh two decades.

A lot of the politicking of WoW is also just out of the players' hands. Yeah, you could make a guild that wants to see the empire of Arathor reforged or unite all trollkind into one empire and drown the world in blood, but stuff like that isn't really actionable, so it gets old.

When making an RP guild, it is important for the guild to have an IC purpose that is something the guild members can influence and act on. I believe that's why a lot of politically motivated guilds have a pretty short shelf life.

As for the Alliance equivalent, we give it to Gilneas. They've had "harvest witches" for as long as Cata but they're barely ever expanded on. Let the holiday just be two similar harveat/remembrance festivals taking place at a similar time.

They should expand more on the racial connections of other holidays too as they get revamped, but for the most part each of them feel more connected to the world already compared to the weird outlier that is PB.

We can still keep the turkey and food aesthetic because they fit all three of these events. We can build orcish/Horde lore and have an excuse to revamp the revisiting Grom quest to he something more interesting (and maybe add more orcs like Saurfang/Ogrim like the heritage quest).

Instead I propose: replace/combine it with the Harvest Festival, and the now rebuilt orcish tradition of the Kosh'arg All three of these have a focus on food, and the Kosh'arg and Harvest have a part about remembering the ancestors, so they all overlap pretty significantly.

Something I've been thinking about for a bit, is that we should get rid of Pilgrim's Bounty as a holiday in WoW. Partially due to the fact that its a entirely American focused holiday in the way others aren't, partly because of the history of that holiday, but also because it just doesn't fit WoW.
