Update: little man won't use the tub, so I set him up with my desk warmer on the couch under a comfy blanket. It seems like he struggles with confinement. He's curled up and snoozing right in the middle of the warmest part of the pad.

Just went out and made things a little more comfy for our kitty visitor. He's got my heated desk mat, and about a dozen hand warmers absolutely bumping warmth for him. Ares is upset about this whole thing, but he can cope.

Someone might need to post bail for me though because I'm about two seconds away from going back down to the neighbor's house and throwing dog shit all over his lawn.

I know that now that we've fed him, he's probably going to come back. But if I have to toss a can of cat food for him to keep him going, I'm going to do it because it's the right thing to do.

So this is happening. Our neighbor is severely neglecting his cat. Today we found him curled up on our front porch, so deeply asleep that we thought he was dead. He is skin and bones, and we have a freeze warning and snow on the way. He just let him out again after we screamed at him.

I got a 'For the Alliance' from my favorite person working the help desk at the Home Depot because I totally spaced on the fact I'm wearing my Alliance shirt.

Got home. Immediately cracked a cold one. Sat on the couch and put my feet up and had my dog lay next to me. Realized I've slowed morphed the stereotype of the grizzled middle aged construction worker without realizing it.

Racking up the overtime is really helping me with upcoming expenses and absences from work. I'm very grateful that things have been lining up for me as much as they are to help with some really expensive things we've had happen lately. Every little bit helps.
