Absolutely wild pink nitrogen ribbon aurora burst last night here in Iceland. There was cloud cover, and I was worried the show would stay shrouded. Voila! The purpley-pink & white ribbons are much closer to us in the atmosphere than standard green arcs, and are fast moving. #northernlights #aurora
