many others have said it but the account-wide "adult content" label being applied to anyone at all completely undermines the "adult content is labeled and you can filter it out" feature the website had. Losing the text of a post prevents anyone from discerning if they want to click "show" or not.

PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.

Staff being able to apply an adult content label to an entire acct overrides the label function and is not a good thing. Do you know how many newcomers don't know that their default moderation settings hide us from view completely and they just assume we don't exist? This is shoving us out of sight
