In Donkey Kong 64, the Giant Spider miniboss can only be fought once. Modifying the game to fight it a second time makes it unceremoniously explode. While this appears to be a glitch, examining the code reveals it was actually deliberately added for the developers' own amusement.

From my experience, when the most experienced people get fed up and leave, it’s usually a sign to plan your own exit and watch the collapse from a safe distance It’s wild to try and frame the chasing away of legacy talent as a net positive

I started HRT, legally changed my name and fully transitioned socially. This time last year, I still had friends I wasn’t out to Work-wise, I stayed employed and got promoted to a better-paying role When I lay it all out, I’ve improved my life a lot

This is especially rich because the long development times are primarily a management problem The tech industry is just rich idiots treating problems they cause themselves like inherent issues, then trying to solve them in ways that make everything worse
