Kind of an interesting question - would you pay 25 units to Reverse Patreon your least favourite player to fuck off out of your favourite team?

A delight to see *Phil Kitro voice* the mighty Rrrrayo Vallecano win the right to get stomped by some bored EPL side with five times the payroll in an European final. Brexit means Brexit, fuck off out of UEFA if you're serious

I think this is in Will Buxton's book My Greatest Defeat, it may also be in the second edition of Lauda's autobiog (on the list of the greatest autobiogs ever written, it's astonishing)

Terrible to hear about Nigel Farage. Nothing bad happened to him it's just fucking terrible every time you have to hear his stupid name.

Feel like I should go watch some late 90s Indycar to honour the great man. He could just do dumb shit not body else could imagine. AND THEN there was the whole second (third? fifth?) act as a Paralympic god

Alex Zanardi is gone. He was an indomitable sort of chap. A lot of things went extremely badly for him but he was the kind of guy that got back up again and made the best of it. Lost both logs in a terrible crash in IndyCar, recovered and went on to be an incredible Paralympian. Godspeed Alex.

Zanardi was the best of us. He was a hero before he lost his legs and responded by transcending our stupid little sport to become Marvel superhero material. Vale.

Best way to improve AFL fan experiences is to change the sport they’re watching to something not shit. Logistically difficult I accept

You've gotta feel for Scott Parker, condemned to exist in perpetual limbo betwixt PL and Championship, forever in charge of the notional 20.5th best team in the country, yo-yoing forever more until the heat death of the universe, a managerial Chopra, a head coach Dwight Gayle, a tracksuited Earnshaw

to the extent this analysis holds any water, the problem is that many men are cartoonishly pathetic fucking losers and should maybe try not being that instead of burning the fucking world down because it doesn't "honor" them the way they'd like

An attempt to explain PSG 5-4 Bayern, probably the most entertaining game I’ve ever been at. “It is a moment to congratulate the players, the two sides, and all of those present here,” said Luis Enrique. I will take it.

This Champions League semi-final's first leg was crazy but played just how both managers wanted: relentlessly end to end and high-tempo
