Southerner in a red state wishing I could afford to live in a blue state.
pinned post!
In 2010 we had managed capitalism in America. The political chaos and race to fascism IS the
#AI
problem. There will not be managed capitalism in America in 2030. In 2030 we'll either have
#Socialism
or
#Fascism
. AI has taken away any possibility of our future being managed capitalism.

I feel we could talk more about the scope of the AI/robotics fantasy; it represent's Capital's ambition to dispense with Labor entirely. I don't think it will work, ultimately, but ultimately is a long time (see Keynes: in the long run etc) and in the meantime it will do a lot of human damage.

The Freedom Fuel stations were put together by a pair of serial grifters who stole $667,000 worth of gas from a distributor five years ago, a private credit sponsor, and an energy trader tied up in multiple Trump schemes and profiting heavily off the war in Iran.

I cannot overstate how important it is to amplify these lines of argument. We're in an unconsolidated authoritarian regime — and there's no line Trump and his inner circle won't cross *if* they think they can get away with it.

A big reason for Democrats to promise prison time for Republicans in power and the use of the state to undermine the Republican Party as an organization is because our former allies need to believe that someday soon, America will cease to be like this.

The word he needed was TRANSISTORS. Transistors act as the tiny on/off electronic switches that form the foundation of digital computing. Because they dictate a processor's power, efficiency, and intelligence, how they design and pack them directly shapes the performance of modern microchips.
