First post of the new year! I used to do this thing on the #dnd subreddit called How Would You Use It: I'd just post whatever art piece I'd made that week for myself and ask people how they'd use it in their games, how it inspired them. Figured I'd do it here too! SO! Ahem! How would you use it?

I think asking people to just "be cool" about things they encounter that are outside of their sphere of experience and to reconsider their need to make comment on those things is good, actually. Some shit on the internet just isn't for you. You're not making a podcast. Just. Keep. Scrolling.

So, I've given this way too much thought: With the ground floor being 48" sq., the outer and inner lanes would be 4", the first level of the four platforms would be 18" sq., second level platforms would be 10" sq., the bridges and ramps would be 2" wide. I'd make the platforms 3" high. #nerdlings

I find it disheartening to hear "You're charming/funnier/smarter when you don't try" I am always trying and putting effort forward and hearing that makes me feel like I am none of these things.

I keep coming back to these tarot inspired mechs because I had so much fun designing them and thinking about the world they are from. I think I'm going to try and make a game about them. That way I can have my friends pilot their own make-believe-cool-robot assigned by fate.

My gift at the the White Elephant exchange was called "The Worst Gift" (DCC Hardback book) The art I ordered inexplicably has white 2" trim all the way around it. Half the people that signed up for Daggerheart oneshots are now flaking out/being unresponsive. Not the worst... but this sucks.
