If you want to support a brilliant Scottish author, this is Val McDermid and her wife at Glasgow Pride yesterday. Her Karen Pirie series is great, but I love the Allie Burns books a lot too.

“You said the 2020 election was rigged by either Venezuela or China. When you called that fella in Georgia pleading for 11,780 votes, was that part of the rigging, or part of the 6-year investigation? Just one more thing, sir, who was president while all this rigging took place?”

Usually, if something is deeply damaging and defamatory to an organization you founded, you wouldn't say you want everyone to read it. Rowling is someone who is confident the system will back her regardless of how she undermines her own organizations legal position because of her wealth.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

It tells you everything you need to know about the state of British society when the Anne Frank Trust has to step in because of the dehumanising attacks on the LGBT community. What a disgrace we’ve become

I work with loads of lesbians, who all put me on their Close Friends stories on IG which freaks me out every time I see them, but it turns out females use it to make sure only people they actually know see what they're up to and not creepy weirdos on the internet?! Gay men only use it to show bulges

The new UK Health Secretary reassuring Telegraph journalists that he's transphobic enough for them. Why did he change his mind? Because throwing trans people under the bus is cheap politics for the Labour Party.

I keep putting on albums and suddenly realising it's autoplayed a different artists music, because everythings so bloody short. Dagny's Dancefloor Erocia is 11 tracks and 30 minutes long. Anna of the North's Girl in a Bottle is 8 tracks and 23 minutes. My brain needs 45 minute+ albums back.

I read a review of The Correspondent that gave it 2 stars because the protagonist was unlikeable and mean about her husband. Who rates a book based on whether the characters are nice people?! I've been thinking about it constantly since I saw it a few days ago.
