Gradually doodling a Sonic OC and learning to love sketch layers. Being able to manually change the canvas size might also be nice, though.

Since I finally have the entire Song of Ice and Fire series thus far, thanks to last year's Christmas haul, I think I might read through the whole thing and see how long it takes me. Can I get through the whole bloody saga before next year? We'll find out!

Trying to do a sketch of a Sonic-style character. Considering that in such a style, the torso is about the same size as the head, before you've drawn the limbs it can look alarmingly similar to that thing from Eraserhead.

New game idea: Rockhoppers. A strategic game of asteroid mining, where you direct your crew to move and maintain equipment, drill for minerals, and get everything back to base within the time limit (because the company you work for is too tight-fisted to shell out for decent retrieval rockets).

In keeping with my current Sonic mood, the current top spot in my costume wishlist is Amy Rose. Rouge or Blaze would also be acceptable. In fact, I'd probably happily hear arguments for just about any StH girl.

One problem with being unable to draw is that when you have very specific and complex ideas for commissions, you end up writing up a very long and detailed brief, and worrying what any prospective artist will think when you present it to them.
