Couldn't get this idea out of my head so i picked up some cricut infusible ink to try custom tattoo sleeve on opaque tights. Happy to inform it works beautifully! Works almost the same as iron on vinyl, but without the vinyl just the ink. It can be cut and weeded for complex design

im close... relocated the cam link to the rear, then bottom with inverse slider/linkage for more clearance🥴

almost got it figured out but need to find a way to add more space to this cam as the spring return area is too short to function properly (in green)

got some more thoughts about getting more range of movement out of a single servo eye! geneva mechanism on the eyelid, to free up some rotation angles for an additional cam mechanism that rocks the eye side to side inbetween blinks! i dont have a way to add the lower eyelid yet but maybe later

1am is the time for great ideas right just had some awesome thoughts about adding more function without adding more size to my blinking eye setup

This is my new padding style, its like a stretch fabric pillow sleeve with a bit of velcro. The sleeve can be washed and the padding swapped or stacked for various desirable foam thickness and firmness to fit the wearer the best.

Got the new adafruit trinket and now i got the full igni silver sword effect going 💪

if i make a mold of the geometric pattern with an inlay of the reflection pattern, and then pour clear rubber in, lay the mesh on top, then i can make stretchy rubber diamonds instead🤔 tricky is transferring the pattern to the bottom of the mold + not have rubber flashing in the mesh

Old dremel lite usb port broke off and the battery was losing charge anyway so i got one of those ryobi usb swappable batteries instead

My first full volume 3dprint on my new Prusa Core one L (thank you prusa for the machine) I printed a custom head scaled to my 3d scan and slightly angled, so i can easily work on the face of masks without twisting it around. Printed in PETG in 12 hours. Really good quality!

I got a 5v old adafruit trinket bcs its smaller so it can fit in my sword but it runs out of ram and cant address more than 70 or so pixels 🫠

I use puffy paint to make lip gums and eyelids and more skin textures now. Works really well, durable, and stays flexible.

Finished the tiefling tail! I ended up patching the first attempt i made bcs the second try was a fail 😔 made with creature cast rubber in a 3dprinted mold and foam inside, then airbrushed and bit of shading with a regular brush #cosplay

3dprinted shaft into a chiffon fabric feather test (Pause print halfway, add fabric, continue printing). If you have a 3dprinter laser combo you could maybe do this in one single pass (i handcut the feather shape and burned the edges here)

sketchy idea of a fursuit design for myself using fur fabric i have (mostly whites and denim blue) some dragon/feline/blue jay influences

Another good boy in the works Lots of evolution in this construction! Dual petg and LW-PLA 3dprint for strength and weight in the perfect balance which worked really nicely. New systems for ears and eyes too and minor updates in other areas, such as a jaw stop to avoid scratching paint on the teeth.

ok its not vecna but i love how this came out and its very comfortable! working on the rest of hellboy x karlach outfit now #cosplay
