After hours of climbing, deep within the Sierra Madre Oriental, you arrive at an ancient temple at dawn. A tall, wolf-shaped guardian draped in gold greets you, his eyes gleam like cold fire. He speaks in guttural tones you can’t understand, then offers you a clay cup shaped like a wolf’s paw.

Ah gomen oomf chan Sammy! I fully recommend @lethargichero.bsky.social's take on modern werewolves, and how they fit into human society. I found those stories when the pandemic started, and they were a great escape during that tough time, which I'm super thankful for.
