I use buses a lot. I see drivers taking risks,approaching junctions too fast without regard for standing passengers and other road users etc. Not all drivers by any means many are excellent but when you are on a bus with the driver acting that way it is very scary. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The Phico radio has now gone back to its owner. Current project is a car radio from a 1955 Studebaker. About as weird as you can get. 6v positive earth. Initial fault was a dead vibrator (snigger). Lots of leaky capacitors and things. Now radios again!

We're sad to hear of the passing of David Burke, best known for playing the first incarnation of Dr Watson opposite Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes. His long TV film and stage career included the role of Vachel in the Space Precinct episode Seek and Destroy. Our thoughts go out to all who knew him.
