Today's fun in Asda. Looking at chargers & cables, I found that they were all locked onto metal rods on the display shelf. Seeing as there is now no service desk or assistant in that annex, I was left wondering what I'm supposed to do to buy one. On the plus side, 2️⃣ manned checkouts working today.

In the 70s/80s, I tuned in every day to hear the plays on Radio 4. They were works of art & at least 3 per week were 90 minutes long. I've tried many times to see if they are any good now, but it's all such a worthy load of twaddle! Thank goodness for BBC4X for the old repeats that often show up.

Just seen a video interview with an actor/musician named Ronn Moss. He was explaining how his British dad went into business in California early on & knew all the 'stars' & all the horrors that went on. He seems like a good guy. THEN I found out he is in this band, on this fab song!!

Shapeshifting and lizard nonsense aside, David Icke doesn't seem such a figure to be made fun of, these days.

People, just a word of caution when shopping. Check that any jars you buy haven't been opened - most have a seal that 'pops'. Yesterday in Asda, I couldn't believe my eyes at an idiot who opened a jar of condiment (I heard the seal break). sniffed it, before putting it back on the shelf. 🤬

Back in 1972, it was normal to follow The Osmonds, Bay City Rollers or The Jackson 5 etc. None of them were for me, but this was my poster boy and I've loved this song for a lifetime.

Whoever decided that reading light grey text on a white background was a good idea, is an absolute 🤡. Changing it to 'bold' in my settings only shows up occasionally. It hurts my eyes and is barely visible.

I think this is brilliant! The cut-off bottoms of plastic bottles, glued together to make a lampshade!
