Any geology folk on the follow? Sometimes the anomaly is the same rock, sometimes different. In the bigger picture you can see the sandstone gradient banding warped by pressure but the vertical to horizontal runs through the time zone. Anyone explain this for me? #geology

A wee stint gave a fair 4m run. Nice that a few came back to my SSB CQ and that others were having a bash with phone as well. Heard a bit of CW on 6m as well as SSB so a spread of modes was good to see since the surf was high. But! ... let me show you my baps😁

A fair wee 6m and 4m log during the days chores and business- Nice to see an actual opening, the first for me this year. Actually not that strong -persistent but not that strong on 6m so it was a surprise that 4m was as busy as it was.

Nope, couldn't find a 5v supply for the DAB radio. Couldn't find C cells either. But trying to savage batteries from other places, i discovered this was still working. Sadly D sized.. so no use as far as batteries. Seems at some point I recorded Soft Machine on the tape.

Next month I will be 55yo. Today I realised I could empty the ice cube trays into a box and then fill up the trays again for more ice. I will have twice as much ice. 🧊🧊 I am genuinely pleased with myself.
