In the continuing saga of not being 'quite right'- last night I had a tuna sandwich for dinner, the night before that, I had a tuna sandwich for dinner; tonight I am having a fish finger sandwich for dinner. I dont feel like a king, but its food that doesn't turn my stomach. Yay! I guess.

Well that was nice, as i packed up, i thought i would try the brief ISS pass and i picked up VO1FOG again. I had been hoping to hear him again, good strong sigs too. A cherry on the ham radio day.

In between other things, such as going to the shops for Party Rings, my ham radio day was productive enough. A wee bit of DX, wee being the operative word, some satellite and all voice except a few FT8 with my porridge. Feeling fine, kid is doing ok. but the wife is floored, it has hit her hard. 😕

When you tune around the band... yes, he was a good friend of mine, but he died, well, he was murdered, murdered in Goma, but i still stay in touch with his wife and she was telling me...

Well there you go, that's interesting. I might have grumbled the other week about WWA stations flooding the bands and fun though it is, wanting it to end. However, generating 1.8million SSB QSO is impressive. FT8 down at 1.3million. Thats a lot of ham radio. CW a little behind at nearly 1.2million.

It was nice to get some shack time after working this morning, but also confirmed to me that i still aint quite right- far better then the wife who is still on the couch feeling ill; not heard from the kid, hope she is doing OK with it. But telly now-tired. I2OIM was new through ISS, so bonus there.

I have done nothing today except watch TV. Documentaries on food safety, social media and consumerism.. thats 4.5hrs. Then Fargo and Jawbreaker for another 3.5hrs and the last couple of hours, revisiting Sex Lies and Videotape. Which I last saw on videotape. Total telly about 10hrs straight.

Talking of rum... this stuff is terrible rum, but very, very good tequila. Never had such smooth tequila before.
