Update I promised forever ago: I do enjoy a lot about my new job. The kids are great. And i enjoy most of the Slibrary busy wrk, even all of the reading aloud. Maybe i'm just *really* that lazy, but i forgot how much i dislike: Full time hrs Waking up early Planning week/month ahead Wrking alone

Update: my mommy took me to the doctor and i got a note and antibiotics 🤧 so now i gotta update my request to be out sick until thursday and reschedule classes that day 🫠

Worst thing about working in a school is all the germs. It hasn't even been a month and i've already fallen ill twice 😭. Had to call in sick, throat is killing me 🥀. Gonna try and go back to sleep so hopefully they approve it when it's like not almost 2am haha. Cuz i need rest

Sorry, the social battery has been so 📉 😭. Having to be *on* almost all day everyday is not something i'm used to anymore 😅. My throat is like constantly sore now from how much i gotta talk and my brain is just like **static** But soon i'll have a whole week off for president's week ✨️ Miss you 🫶

I have a PD day today off campus and i feel like i'm back in college, immediately heading right to the back corner desk 😩

Thoughts so far on my first day (it's only lunchtime): i'm overwhelmed and tired because it's a lot to learn, but i'm also having fun! It helps that i have the basics down, just need to really learn the routine for the students @ the library. I have a lot to learn/pick up but i think i can do it 🫶

Went to thrift to decompress after wrk pre-employment physical & got annoyed seeing discs all swapped in game/music cases. Put some of them back as i was looking (ha to person who hid them), but then got anxious after thinking workers may think *i* was trying to be slick & hide stuff in my purchases

Today was officially my last day at the library :'). Spent like an hour on goodbyes, got some yummy treats from now (former) coworkers </3 and lots of hugs. Almost 4 years of my life there. I know i'll cry reading my goodbye book, and there's still ppl that need to sign it T^T

I drafted my resignation letter for one job and my acceptance letter for the other 😬

Bro i can't handle this pressure, i just interviewed this morn why are u already sending me an offer of employ?? i wanted more time 2 think abt if i wanna be the solo El school librarian !! I thought they'd call my references 1st but they already sent the "probationary offer" if ref+checks clear !!!

I had a test yesterday to qualify for a position (passed with a 90%) & a panel interview today for a different position which should be exciting. It's all going *fine* but i feel so unmotivated & like unsure about everything. What are dreams & passion? i dunno. What do i want? Where do i wanna be?

Do i not know what i want, am i afraid of change, or am i simply not built for this world .-. ?

Also i stg i will catch up on my notis and stalk y'all once my self imposed spontaneous winter break is over ♥︎!!! i wanna know what i've missed in your lives but i've just needed to disconect to connect, you know T^T ?? Hope to catch up soon in 2026 ^^!!!
