Mailbag Day! Recently saw a listing for a catalog about anime and TV releases circa 1989 from Japan. The thing that caught my eye was the mention of VHD releases. Sure enough a small set of titles came out that year including Akira (also on S-VHS), Gunbuster, and Totoro. Cont.

I am of two minds on this one. On one hand: yay, more Gundam manga! And it's NOT a One Year War story! It's basically an Origin-style retake of Zeta (and god knows that series could use it) On the other: Kitazume's Gundam manga have a bit of a rep in the fandom and it's not a great one.
