Tottenham, board games, music, misery. These things describe my life.
Every day trying to take positive steps towards health, productivity and creativity. I am trying very hard to go into my 40s as the best version of myself that I have ever been and I don't know that I have ever felt more confident.

Also it is so fucking weird to read takes about how Frank being shit and a poor choice means it was also wrong to sack Ange. Those things are not linked. Ange deserved the boot, his replacement being shit doesnât invalidate that.

I spent so much of the early parts of this season telling folks that Frank was a sensible if unexciting appointment and that given time performances would improve after tightening things up. This is worse than I could have imagined. Iâve only watched one match fully since early December.

'Blue Monday' is apparently the most depressing day of the year. I was lucky enough to find out today that a job application process I've been through for around three months has today progressed to the stage of a conditional offer. Very excited for this year!

Itâs been clear for a while now that Thomas Frank wasnât going to work but I did think there was little point in changing things until the summer. This is no longer tenable. There are issues with the squad, sure, but this style of play with nobody pass forward is unbearable and unforgivable. Cheerio

Daughter and I played Hot Streak and Magical Athlete back to back last night. Her review was "I like Hot Streak more as it's fun and the racers are cool looking. Magical Athlete was frustrating and some of the powers made my head hurt. Also dad is dumb"

When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

A comic book won't harass you for 10 minutes to buy access to DLC, or flood you with ads that prevent you from enjoying the thing you actually bought. Neither will an older gaming system. This is bigger than a retro trend, it's at least in part a rejection of enshitification. Good.

The mismanagement and missed opportunities at Tottenham over the last seven years are shocking. We were one push away from being a top team back in 2016-2018.

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

Look, I absolutely detest Charlie Kirk and his appalling opinions, but I extend to him and his family all the courtesy that he has denied others and hope he recovers. Shooting people in cold blood is bad. Always. Evil and bad. And none of us want to live in a world where that's celebrated.

The narrative that rightly pointed out how sparsely attended the 'day of rage' was at the weekend missed the point IMHO. It's not about the numbers on the streets (though the images themselves will frighten those whom the actions are aimed at) but what they symbolise and represent: that conman>>>

He stayed when others walked away. Players are temporary but this guy clearly loves our club just as much as we do. Could have won so much more in his career but instead he gave his prime to us, eventually getting his reward in Bilbao. The exit is perfectly handled and he will go down as a legend.

Arsenalâs leadership, Arteta and a portion of Arsenal fans have acted appallingly and cowardly with regards to Partey but I donât think that it does any service to the victims to claim that itâs a unique facet of them as a club.
