One of those cases where you think it might be more complicated and then read the story to discover that it is not. The resident dean was removed after an organized campaign that surfaced speech - whether you like it or not - seemingly unrelated to their work at Harvard.

Just a total, comprehensive failure of every societal institution, including our most prominent media outlets, who soiled themselves completely in how they covered this & the Canada nonsense:

This is essentially unchanged since yesterday. Either the administration is treating this like a game of capture the flag, or there is a major military operation/escalation yet to come.

If you’re not from Philly you can’t understand. The city is fortified for the entire year with that punishing drone of saxophones that sound like kindergarten toys and the pubescent cicada buzz of the banjos. Without it Philadelphia is vulnerable to her enemies

Based on the reporting so far it seems it is currently the former, Trump is describing it as the latter, and getting from A to B will require a massive and open-ended additional military operation

You don't have to listen to these professional liars who are barely trying. 9 months ago they were saying they were powerless to return a man they illegally sent to an El Salvador gulag because it would violate that country's national sovereignty

Once again, one of the primary reasons we have arrived at this point (completely out-of-control & unconstitutional abuse of executive power to conduct wildly illegal foreign policy) is that no one, including the most senior people involved, went to jail for the rest of their lives for Iran-Contra.

Also, characterizing a presidential power as "inherent…under Article II" seems semantically inconsistent. A power that could be stripped by amending the Constitution isn't an inherent power. It's not in the nature of presidents; it's enumerated and established by law.
