By law yearly NY State Vehicle Inspections are required to check for illegal tint - yet in 2025 68.4% of tickets NYPD wrote for illegal tint went to NY registered vehicles. Something is badly broken with NY Inspections.

Driving a car into the sidewalk is illegal. Parking a car there is also illegal. Why doesnāt NYPD address this violation here and citywide? How will you approach fixing this

I counted 45 clear statements from Democrats in congress in support of impeachment. Funny how 11 days later there are still only 3 official sponsors of the actual resolution (H.Res 1155) to impeach Donald Trump.

There is a bike lane here - but it disappears to cross the street and access the Hudson River Greenway. We can design better infrastructure without š²+š¶āāļø= conflict (even though these modes mix better than many expect)

We should 100% have driverless fixed route high frequency busses before driverless single-passenger vehicles/taxis. Itās geometry. One will enhance a city and reduce traffic w/o deadheading - the other will increase traffic and kill a city.

Itās also time for more expansive mixed-use zoning so small businesses can thrive on ground floors across the city. Landlords have leverage over commercial tenants because zoned scarcity gives them that leverage.

The fix isn't to juggle the order the MTA installs elevators - dedicate more funding so they can make *every* station accessible. Every politician can surely find some reason their station is special and should go first. It's not that any particular reason is or isn't valid - It's the wrong fight.

Who has [legal] placards? I would help you understand based on the data, but my FOIL for a copy of the "Electronic tracking system for city-issued parking permits" the city is required to maintain under § 14-183.1 is now 503 days outstanding. I've never received any communication from the city.

How long does it take for Parking / Camera Tickets to get processed and show up in open data? Don't confuse the two halves of NYPD. NYPD Traffic does it electronically (2 weeks), but NYPD Precincts scan things manually and it regularly takes 12+ weeks for everything to be reported.

lol if you expected anything else - the pragmatic path at NYPD is steady incremental accountability and discipline. I believe Tisch has made progress. Treat it like a decade long journey - short quick changes are easily opposed and undone by the next admin (or city council)

on the the other site Rep Figures (D-AL) said "At some point, all of us have a moral obligation [blah blah blah]" that moral obligation must not have applied when he voted to table impeachment resolutions twice - on 11-Dec-2025 and 24-Jun-2025.

Another one - so easy to call for someone else to take action. So hard to do it oneself (even though it's a simple stroke of the pen). Pelosi voted "present" and "aye" allowing two impeachment resolutions to be tabled. She can start actively supporting impeachment any day now.

This is another Democrat (CA-50) who is willing to call for someone *else* to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove trump all while themselves having voted TWICE to stop impeachment efforts. Peters voted "present" on 11-Dec-2025 and "aye" on 24-Jun-2025 allow two impeachment resolutions to be tabled.

A war powers resolution will not be enough. Yes. We need to assert congressional authority and stop this illegal war in Iran. But, Trump is clearly an unstable warmonger at odds with the will of the people. Removal is the top priority. No more war criminal in the White House.
