This is in line with a thing I noticed. If you start calling out bad behavior it gets easier to keep doing it. When I started I got easily flustered when patrons would get aggressive with me. Now I roll my eyes and restate policy and actively remove problem patrons with little heartrate increase.

There's psychology around this, but tl;dr, ask yourself everyday how you're training yourself to dissent and defy. Because if you can't even be bothered to do the small stuff, those in power know you won't do the big stuff they're actually scared of. 2/2
