Mum died this morning, it was very peaceful and the staff of Shrewsbury hospital have been wonderful. Dad died 2 years ago on Thursday, together again.

Mum is still hanging on but not really conscious, I wish she’d just let go so she can be at peace.

Got a phone call in the early hours to say mum was worse so drove up to Shrewsbury. Now at the hospital in that twilight zone of watching and waiting.

Mum has been taken to hospital this morning and my brother is with her, I’m ready to dash up to Shropshire but at the moment it doesn’t seem necessary, antibiotics have been given and they are keeping her in till things improve. It’s a difficult balancing act of should I go or not.
