Here’s how I spent an afternoon and evening earlier this week, walking the footpaths and ridges above Carding Mill Valley. After 25k steps carrying my camera gear up and down steep slopes, and with the sun having set, I was glad to get back to the car and head home to put my feet up. #Shropshire

A path through a sea of white at Corbett’s Dingle, Coalport. The scent of the wild garlic was almost overpowering, and I spent a couple of hours with the whole wood to myself, accompanied only by birdsong. A new location for me, and I look forward to revisiting it in years to come. #Shropshire

I do like a path through a bluebell wood and here is one of my favourites - Helmeth Hill at Church Stretton. I always make a point of visiting at this time of year and spending a few hours taking pictures. For my money it’s one of the best bluebell displays in #Shropshire - and you can see why.
