This is another reason public broadcasting is really important. In those moments where screentime is borderline necessary (if you've banned screens, great! But that's not most parents) it was nice to have many options for high-quality kids programming.

The WBC is more fun than the MLB season, and part of the reason why is every country that isn't America is having tons of fun with it. But let's not forget that it's also because WBC is a best on best tournament where you can lose, at best, one game, and the MLB regular season is a delightful slog.
