Posting to make it real: picking new frames tomorrow at the eye doc, once and for all! My glasses have been broken for >2yrs, I tighten them daily & the arm falls off at least once a week. Plus I can’t read that well anymore. I haven’t been able to decide on frames 🙄 but tomorrow it’s happening. 👓

As the parent of kid heading off to university next fall this thread is enraging and heartbreaking and I *hate* that this is where we're at and that nobody seems to give a rat's ass about the damage being done to entire generations of kids with this monstrously evil technology.

Well, a week later the washing machine quit. Dryer broke in August. Dishwasher died 2 yrs ago. So, we took delivery of our new washer & fridge today. The dishwasher & dryer come next week. The best part (besides having functional shit): I got to vac & steam mop under the W/D after 18 years! 😳
