I'm sorry, but I just think it's very telling when we differentiate between ICE's killing of American citizens versus undocumented immigrants. And I'm seeing that a lot right now.

You need to plant some hellebores, a.k.a. lenten rose. They start blooming in March, and it's balm for one's winter soul to see flowers. The foliage and flowers fill out fuller over time. They keep their flowers until late April, just getting more Goth looking. Deer don't touch them!

This thread sparked a good discussion. One thing I'm taking away from this is that many of y'all NEED MUTUAL AID YOURSELVES. So many people here are struggling and asking how they can give back while they're broke and sick and caring for children or elderly family BY THEMSELVES without community.

Sincere question and I hope we can make a safe place for this discussion, are there people out there who feel like they don't know how to get involved and make a difference? What do you feel like the barriers are for you getting involved in organizing? Have you tried and failed?
