AI art looks like ass and you would be better off using stick figures. Seriously. I know you think it looks professional or whatever, but using AI for your game makes it look horrible.

Nothing makes me quite realize how much of a scam video game online play is than playing Fantasy Life with my mom. I play online for free on Steam Deck, but she has to pay because she's on the Nintendo Switch. I remember when online for games on console wasn't an extra fee.

I see Nintendo defenders are out in force today pretending the Switch 2 has games. It doesn't. It has like, one console moving game. But that's fine! Remember how miserable of a failure the 3DS was for a while? Then they started releasing games for it and it ended up amazing in the end.

Game got stuck in a loop because the CPU said no valid targets to select even though it could have its own crew (to be fair, would have been dumb). Look in the code and see comments telling me exactly this was going to happen and I need to figure out a solution philosophically. Damn it past me.

So I used to buy tons of video games and cards on eBay, so I had the eBay credit card. They contacted me to say they're canceling the program and it's being replaced by some random card by the company that managed that one. It doesn't feel like I should be given a new cc against my will like this?

It is astounding how much American companies just refuse to let you do business with them or manage important things while you're outside the country. I can't access streaming, my pharmacy, or my bank because I'm on a trip. Sometimes people go other places and still need to manage stuff!

I post a lot about how I hate AI because duh. The discover page started showing me posts from people who like AI, and they're kinda hilarious. I used this AI agent and it didn't work so then I tried this AI and this AI 15 times. Bro you have spent more time than just learning how to do the thing.

I may not have gotten much game dev done, but I did take a blu ray player with a disc drive that wouldn't open and that was stuck in 576i so wouldn't show up on the TV and got it fully working. Plus I got all the remotes working with a phone operated IR blaster. 7 remotes combined into a phone app.

As someone who spends a lot of time in two countries, I love how companies, especially tech companies, assume your physical location is the only thing that matters and aggressively localize. Trying to sign up for HBO Max to watch the Olympics but the app is only in polish with no way to change it.
