I really can't recommend familiarizing yourself with the things that live and grow around you enough. It's immediately grounding to be able to recognize individual plants/bugs/animals and have some understanding of their relationship to each other and to you. It makes day-to-day life feel richer

I haven't talked about it much, but these past few years I've been dealing with nerve injuries / other issues in both arms, which has affected how and how much I can draw. I was in my head about this "downgrade" for a long time, but lately I'm grateful that people still enjoy what I make. Thank you.
