Easter came to Finland with Christianity via Sweden but the name of the holiday did not. In Swedish, Easter is påsk, in related languages they have pascha, páska, pasqua and pâques. The Finnish version would have been paska (shit) or paskiainen (shithead), but for some reason they were dismissed
