My son & I fell asleep around 7pm. I woke up around 2am & can't fall back to sleep yet. I gave him Advil at 2. I hope he gets well soon & his job is understanding. I'm taking his car to a nearby town for the window repair later today. I hope I get there safely. Left turns are really hard.

Nothing serious is wrong, he has another virus. Adenovirus this time. They gave him IV Toradol & Tylenol. That brought the fever down to 99.1, plus provided some pain relief. This is the 4th or 5th virus he's had in 8 months. Poor guy can't catch a break.

When I went to turn the car on so it could cool off, the driver side window was completely shattered from the lawn service. That delayed things, but the lawn care owner's gonna pay for it. They can't get the window in until tomorrow. It's hard to drive with it like that. Worst luck ever.

The ER is packed, which doesn't surprise me. It's 104°F today, but was 111°F yesterday. I'm not sure what it was on Monday, but it was also bad. I'm sure it's not helping my son's symptoms. I'm sure some of the people are here due to the heat. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer.

My son has a fever of 101. We're headed to the ER or convenient care.

We paid the remainder of June's rent just a few days ago. Now July rent is due. $945. It kills me every time. I think it goes up $20-30 next month. Still in the process of making calls for help as there's nowhere cheaper. I even looked in multiple towns across the state. Feeling so frustrated & sad.

Finding a job here is nearly impossible. My son & I are both getting ignored by employers. It took him 5 months to get his current cashier job. I'm still part time at a company I've been at 20 years this August. We moved from one small town to another. It's more difficult than here, though.
