25 years ago I went to a guitar-building kindergarten in Michigan, and made a friend who went on to start a guitar repair business in Chicago. A guitar I worked on when *I* went on to apprentice for an archtop maker just landed in his shop, and the photos he sent took me back like a ROCKET. 🥹

I love the feel of this new Mustang. But it needs some mods. The SD "red devil" bridge humbucker is too mellow - putting a Hotrail in. Also, the pickup switches are needlessly complicated. Bypassing one entirely and wiring the other to work like a Tele 3-position blade
