It’s #straturday. This is my 1979 3-bolt neck Frankenstrat. Original pickups, but I added a Floyd Rose and midi guitar pickup. Love the tone this guitar has. It’s also a great slide guitar.

Another guitar of the day. This one started out as the most generic Strat. Now it has a compound radius neck 9.5-12, locking tuners and new pickups. Saw a Carl Verhayen vid on you tube about how he sets his trem. Now it stays perfectly tuned no matter what you do with the bar. Look it up.

Another guitar of the day. This is my Warmoth parts guitar I put together about 15 years ago. It’s got a gold foil single coil right now but will be sporting two Seymour SH-1 pickups soon. Birdseye maple top and neck. This is my hot rod.

All kits and cheaper brands for the most part, but still lovely. 2 with Gibson scale length, the rest Fender scale. 3 different trems, 6 different bridges, 3 nut styles, one headless with zeroth fret. I'm just exploring.

A chrome slide on a magnet. I used to put it on a mic stand attachment. I like this better. No mod needed. The magnet is from StewMac and is meant to be used as a magnetic clamp for acoustic repairs. I do this on several guitars. Here’s how I do it on a strat.

My ‘72 Strat. This guitar has been across the country with me. It’s been beaten and abused and is still one of my favorites. This is my go to guitar.
