The crosstabs on the latest Fox News poll showing Trump 22 points underwater (39 - 61) astound me. Trump is underwater w/ white men, white women, white w/o college degree, white women w/o college degree, Catholics, urban, suburban and rural voters. Only positive with white men w/o college degree.

As a non-California resident, I haven't invested effort in learning the differences among the Gubernatorial candidates. All I care about is that at least one Democrat makes it into the general election. If two Dems make it, I will take a side. If it's a Dem v. GOP in November, vote blue!

I recall discussing Jan. 6 with "very serious people" in the immediate aftermath. I said it was a moral imperative & critical to the survival of our constitutional republic that Trump be impeached, convicted & barred from office. I was told I was being hysterical (rare insult for a straight man).

Watched the entire Knicks game with daughter @madepn.bsky.social, who has been along for the entire playoff run. Tonight watched the Knicks come back from 22 points down with 7:52 left in 4Q to force OT, and then win by 10. Watching with the kid made it best Knicks moment in 48 years as a fan!

It's really crazy to me what Trump and his enablers are trying to do to vaccines and public health. Child mortality used to be 50%(!). As recently as 1950, 25% of children died globally. Now it’s 4% globally and 0.3% in some rich countries, largely due to better public health and vaccines.

With a second high inflation reading (6% annual increase in wholesale prices), it seems clear to me that Trump's war of choice in Iran is increasing prices for Americans. That is about the nineteenth best reason for people to oppose the war, but I expect it will be the most compelling.
