gAI art is bad because it's stealing labor. stealing labor from art is easy because no one sees art as labor, they see it as talent. they see it as talent because it's easier to believe they have a right to hate you because they can't stand they gave up and you didn't. fuck them, pay labor.

You don't need genAI to make art for you, you just don't want to do the work that it takes to get good, and you don't need to make that everyone else's problem. Just use your money to pay someone if all you want is the end product, that's a perfectly respectable way to conceive art form your ideas.

Lately, when I do lineless, I've been setting up my shading like this: 1) Make a base layer for all the shadows. 2) Color and mask a layer for each base color's shadow, then clip it to the base shadow. This way, I can erase/paint on the base shadow without having to recolor anything!
