Poor cooking scheduling from me this week resulted in having to cook a bunch of chicken yesterday. Some will go into a casserole Thursday, having chicken salad for lunch, freezing rest because I also needed to marinate some pork to smoke today. Haven’t started anything for tomorrow. I’m a mess.

I think this stretch of Lateef’s solo discography is his most impressive. All of them classics. I know a lot of hardcore Jazz folks really fawn over his Impulse releases but most of that is not for me. Highly recommend taking a stroll through if you’ve never done so. Jazzsky
