The only reason I ever learned what a scientist was—or how to become one—was because a diversity grant at my undergrad recruited me from a biology class. I had the highest score in the class (104%). That experience changed my life. And I held onto that dream through an incredibly difficult decade.

I’m excited to be presenting at the Organization for Human Brain Mapping in Australia this year. I fell in love with this conference and community in 2022 and it was where I first became inspired to study focused ultrasound. Looking forward to seeing some of you there #OHBM2025
