Went to the grocery store in a little closet costume (witch). I’m making a chili!!! I’m doing it! My cauldron is full and bubbling away!

My friends are making me really want to cook some soup tomorrow. I think it’ll be a day in tending to the home and getting chores done before Halloween hangs tomorrow night.

We’ll win. It won’t be tomorrow or this year. Maybe not before I’m gone. But we’ll win.

I have so many beautiful new zines after Phoenix Zine Fest this weekend!!! It was a blast and a half and I’m full to the brim with love. It never fails to astonish me just how creatively people can manipulate paper and the things they place upon it.

Between the new Sudan Archives album and the new Tame Impala album, I’m rolling in good new tunes this month. And we get Florence on the 31st!!! I’ll always be a fall record release babe.

The pre-fest gallery night for Phoenix Zine Fest was such a balm. My friends keep me alive with their art and their care. I love everyone so much.

Mom has a kidney stone, infection, or possibly both. Plus her BP is out of control again. I’m so deeply stressed about this. I wish she could have a stretch of time without medical issues and distress. She needs to catch a break.
