OC Transpo has been releasing weekly data about bus fleet availability. Here are the latest numbers based on today's update. More electric buses (now up to 56) + working through maintenance backlogs = more buses available for service. Target is at least 520 buses and <0.5% trips undelivered.

O-Train Service Snapshot. So far today, tracker.railfans.ca has identified 15 different trains in operation. That represents 23.1% of the full fleet. Overall service delivery today is strong (15 or more unique trains seen today). Observed peak frequencies: AM peak: Westbound 03:41 / Eastbound 03:28

I'm so sad to hear this. ☹️ When I lived in that area they were my favs. And I'll never forget that before I went to Oktoberfest in Munich last fall, they were the only brewery in town where I could find a proper stein to practice my stein-holding.

Kitchesippi was my Dad’s favourite brewery. Fun fact he was the first customer at their Bells Corners location. His picture hung by the beer counter for years. He ran in his Kitchesippi shirt at every race. We had his celebration of life there in December 2024. This feels like losing part of Dad.

Really sad to hear that Kichesippi Brewery will be closing. Owner Paul Meek is a Stittsville resident and has given so much back to the community. I'll definitely miss stopping in on my bike rides - right next to the Trans Canada Trail. 😟 www.kbeer.ca/pages/thank-...

We need to reduce congestion and make sure people can move around safely and swiftly. I visited two key road projects in Stittsville with Councillor Gower: the multi-year Carp & Hazeldean Road intersection project included in the 2026 budget, and the newly completed Robert Grant Avenue extension.
