On Wednesday evening, hundreds of people packed into Knox Presbyterian Church for a conversation on homelessness, organized by the Centretown Community Association, the Centretown Community Health Centre, and dozens of community partners.

Last summer I took a ride with the folks at ATU279 doing their best to keep Ottawa moving. A federal government cutting $5 billion for transit and a province that won't pay their fair share — transit workers are doing their best, but chronic underfunding is hurting public transit in Ottawa.

It was a pleasure to visit the Glebe Centre last week for a tour of their facilities and programming. Thank you for welcoming me to your space, and for all your important work!

Today Doug Ford and his government passed Bill 60: a vindictive attack that puts renters at greater risk and deepens Ontario’s housing crisis. They also voted against my motion to strengthen tenant protections and bring back real rent control.
