Trillium bloom spotted yesterday. All flora and fauna will get a drink today as rain is on the way. It will be chilly too. High only 11° and an East wind 20+ will have a bite. Low 7°. Cloudy Thurs. with a leftover shower possible and 14°. Much milder Fri. & for the long weekend.

I’m not sure if it was the chill but this bee was walking around rather than flying about. It’s a cold 1° now but with plenty of sunshine due today, the high climbs to 14°. That’s still below the normal of 19°, but pleasant enough. Wind NW 10-25. Low 5°. ☔️ & a breezy/cool 11° Wed.

I sometimes forget just how big the Ottawa River is in spots. A panoramic view from Britannia Beach shows this. Can you remember the last time it rained? It’s been 10 days. Our stretch of dry weather, however, is coming to an end. 18° today. ⬆️ ☁️. ⬆️ S wind gusting >40. A stray ☔️ is possible.
