we're hitting new years resolutions and I have a few percolating, but the thing that really strikes me across them is how much I want LESS. I want fewer inputs, and to do fewer things but to do them well and deeply. Wanting LESS in a culture that constantly pressures us to desire more feels wild.

This is such a good story, and at its core is something that I think the scale of online shopping often hides from us in plain sight: So much of the abundance it promises is just a lot of disappointing sameness in the end
