Peacock announced #Community: The Movie in Sept. 2022. Joel McHale’s #AnimalControl premiered five months later, in Feb. 2023. This fall, Animal Control enters Season 5. At this rate, Animal Control might hit Season 6 — and fulfill the #SixSeasonsAndAMovie prophecy — before Community does.

Been resisting the urge to rewatch #Severance because then I’ll have to watch it again before Season 3 comes out in 2048. 😔

Making updates to a TVLine column, and it's always wild to me when a show gets renewed and then just… disappears. The Watcher dropped Oct. 2022, renewed for S2 in Nov. 2022... [crickets] P-Valley S2 ended Aug. 2022, renewed for S3 in Oct. 2022... [crickets] I assume the former got Ratched-ed.

This #SVU finale is very good. Tapping Michele Fazekas as showrunner is the best thing to happen to this show in years.

I repeat: THE PITT is saving television. And not in the flippant, "I just really like it" way. THE PITT has a full writers room, full crew, full seasons and is wildly popular. It's the type of TV that execs thought was dead, and, most importantly, it's the type of TV viewers will always crave.

Weird how that Pitt article making the rounds acts as though we didn’t already know that Season 3 is set in November — which inevitably would bump up against the holidays. Wyle just reiterated what we knew a month ago at the Upfront, and it was treated as news.

Incredible growth for #ThePitt in Season 2. Per Nielsen: Weekly viewing totals include all eps of the season available at that point. S2 totals exclude viewing to S1 episodes. (Eps 1 and 2 of S1 were released together in the first week, therefore S1 included 14 weeks of new episodes.)

I’ve published 31 stories since May 1. Upfronts are over. Finales are nearly done. I’m tired, and I need a nap.

Whenever I’m in an Upfront presentation listening to some corporate speak, I’m reminded of the Jabberwocky episode of Better Off Ted. Good show. Rewatched during COVID. It holds up!

Might #WillTrent be entering a season of healing? "I think the fans deserve it," Erika Christensen tells TVLine. "They need to be rewarded for their loyalty."
