A lot of big breaking news stories involve visuals, such as timelines of events, photos, memes, and screen shots. All of those images need alt text. All of them. Don't leave out people who use screen readers. This is true every day. And it's true this week, especially.

I beg y’all. Find other adjectives besides “insane”, “psychotic”, and “crazy” to describe evil times and evil people. Mental illness is a whole host of disabilities that people manage and live with their entire lives. No need to casually equate it with evil & shocking. They are not the same thing.

So today has been...not great. Not to pile on the sadness, but my biggest gripe about #StrangerThings was the absence of Max' mom. Turns out the actress was battling cancer. They pulled her scenes and didn't ask her to return because they thought she might pass away. She lost her health insurance.

Lord, I don't know how MN will process this. So tragic.

LOL This is an awful system. You can trace every dysfunction in the #NFL to this statement. Racism, sexism, homophobia, uneven consequences for vile off-field behavior. Not to mention shady recruiting and other terrible business practices.

Working on a follow up on how anti-DEI state and federal laws and EOs have affected Alabama. @al.com reporters wrote at least 25 stories on the topic since March 2024 when state legislation passed. That's a lot of impact.
