This is an excellent annual. Aging Batman fighting against the Kryptonian overlords while Clark joins him.

Simonson Alien Artist Edition type book. The bleeding last panel followed by a bleeding first panel on the next page. Creates such flow. Cully Hamner did it on every page of Red to great effect. Makes everyone kinetic. To be used with caution as it’s so smoooooooth.

Liefeld did “everything but” script, letters and colours. So you could say “Liefeld -art and plot”. But no. Let’s go auteur theory. Make way for the maestro. “Too many notes mister Mozart”

I LOVE this issue of Hulk by Peter David and Adam Kubert. Adam and Andy did Ghost Rider and Spirits of Vengeance. Then X-Men and Wolverine. Then Wolverine and KA-zar (Andy with Delperdang, Adam with Farmer). Adam shifting gears constantly. Hulk was pretty economical. Gorgeous comics

I tried to get some of my NFTs graded but no one will do it. How can I get them slabbed without an official grading!? I’ve got some key NFTs. A naked monkey. An ultra rare Mona Lisa laughing. And a Banksy 1/100. Would love some advice

So I gather Davis and Farmer falling out was because Davis was running late and Farmer took a gig inking Neal Adams on FF (with Waid) making him unavailable when Davis was ready. First Farmer knew was turning up to a con and Davis had requested he not be sat next to Farmer. Really sad.

One of the amazing things about Artist edition books is seeing the original text before edits. Amazing.

This is the book all those Wildstorm images came from. Funny that at the time this collection would have seemed absurd but in retrospect it really was a remarkable little run of great art (of not so great characters perhaps)
